Home Tone is excited to announce our newest artists, Blue Cut, from Bloomington, IN---a full-length record is in production right now and will be released next month---look for their artist page in the coming weeks!


We are a company striving to benefit the musical production efforts of real, working artists. Home Tone Records exists to document and promote the work of this talent, without regard to genre or current musical trends. Home Tone also represents a diverse group of songwriters, musicians, producers and engineers. HomeTone Records founder Adam Roehlke brings a lifetime of engineering and producion experience, with over 25 years of production support for everything from frat parties to stadiums. Adam's credentials include running a regional sound system rental business (Sound Services 1989-94), production/engineer for The Bottle Rockets (1994-95), for Wilco world tours (1995-2000), for The Blue Note (off and on 1992-2002) and The Redwalls European and American tours (2005). And President Wes Wingate has been a musician/songwriter/producer/promoter for more than a decade now, including his work with: The Doxies, Hilary Scott, John Henry and the Engine, Paradise Vending, as well, as continuing his current projects: The Hipnecks and Stingrays.  Please check out all of our artists and look for our updates as they unfold.

2009 's major release was a co/release with Belltown Records in Northwest Washington.  "Consonance" is a collaboration between Wes Wingate (Hipnecks, John Henry and the Engine) and Hilary Scott.  It features 9 acoustic numbers (most of which are duets) including an inspired twist on "Like a Virgin".  Check it out.



The Hipnecks from Columbia, MO released their sophomore album, American Night  4/10/08 backed by a fiery seven show Midwest release tour. We have several new tracks posted on their artist page as they track for their third release.  Check their tour dates here 



Our first release of '08 was John Henry & the Engine's "Under the Yellow Moon".  "Yellow Moon" hit stores 04/08/08. Check ever-changing tour dates for upcoming shows around the Midwest as this is one of the hottest underground bands in America.
